Abigail Lama-Gaffney

Abbie Lama-Gaffney is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who works with adults. Abbie believes her clients need to be listened to and heard. She provides a safe, nonjudgmental environment for the exploration of thoughts, feelings, and actions. Abbie’s goal is to motivate her clients to create positive change and teach them the skills they need to be successful.  Over her twenty-two years as a therapist, she’s worked with individuals diagnosed with depression, anxiety, bipolar, post-traumatic stress disorder, adjustment disorders, attention deficit disorder, eating disorders, anger issues, and more. She has worked with survivors of domestic violence and those who have been physically/sexually/mentally abused.  Abbie has a BA from The Ohio State University (1997) and a MA from Heidelberg University (2000).  She enjoys long walks in nature, cuddles with her puppy, and quiet time to read a good novel. And she’s always on the lookout for a good inspirational quote.
