About

Hello, and congratulations on making the decision to explore counseling; I know this decision takes courage and vulnerability and I am PROUD OF YOU! You will find me to be a direct, honest and straight forward therapist who will encourage you be honest with yourself and hold yourself accountable. I am Solution Focused and as an Independent Social Worker I have many years of experience “meeting people where they are” and I offer only empathy and encouragement… NO judgement. I believe YOU are the expert in your life and experiences and I look forward to learning how I can help you live a more fulfilling life.

I have an extensive background in treating both mental health and substance use disorders and enjoying traveling alongside my clients as they experience change and growth. I have experience in working with incarcerated individuals, individuals struggling with addiction, parents and caregivers, individuals experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, low self-confidence, guilt, shame, grief and anger among many others. I continuously pursue relevant training and education to enhance my existing skillset and add to my toolbox. I will enjoy collaborating with you to address feelings, emotions, behaviors, barriers and challenges you are experiencing; and will work alongside you to identify goals you wish to achieve. Together we will identify strengths, resources and solutions while learning healthy skills for symptom management and behavioral change.

As a Christian, I believe you are valuable and created for purpose and I will incorporate a biblical and faith-based approach to treatment if you desire. Always respecting where you are on your journey and walking humbly beside you.
