Therapist-Intern

About

As an intern at Mindfully, Amy is completing her MSW through Northern Kentucky University.  She is also a licensed educator in Ohio with over 15 years of classroom teaching experience, working with children and their families. She earned a Bachelor's in Education from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.  Mental health is her passion because individuals can change, and identifying and building on their strengths empowers our resilience and growth. It is important that clients feel safe, heard, affirmed, respected, and supported.

Amy utilizes a patient-centered approach to empower individuals to meet their goals.  Client comfort and well-being are top priorities, and she will collaborate with you to create a therapeutic alliance built on trust and respect, fostering a sense of empowerment and resilience.

Amy enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, cooking, gardening, all kinds of music and reading.  She finds joy in helping others and is looking forward to her dual profession as a counselor and an educator.

Amy is under the supervision of Greg Pratt (MSW, LISW-S).
