Becca is an accomplished mental health professional, having brilliantly served thousands of individuals and groups with a holistic commanding style in many clinical settings across several states, among various demographics and American cultures. She is credentialed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-S/LISW-S), complemented by being a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) and a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). These credentials support extensive specialty certification, including: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma Focused CBT, Motivational Interview (MI), with a variety of additional supportive training and techniques. Becca is a zealous lifelong learner, researcher, and contributor - serving on various boards and currently Chair of Program Development for a non-profit organization supporting homelessness and substance abuse. Before moving to Colorado as a Travel Social Worker, Becca garnered her professional expertise within a multitude of leadership roles in diverse settings including Outpatient/ Inpatient/ Residential Community Mental Health, Veterans Affairs, Trauma I Pediatric and Adult Medical Centers, mental health -based judicial programs, Academia, Intensive In-Home programs, and Private Practice. She received both degrees from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Social Work - during which she began her enthusiastic academic research and intense personal pursuit of a deeper understanding of neuroscience and the implications within behavioral intervention.
