Hi, I’m Courtney Bargola, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) dedicated to helping individuals overcome life’s challenges and achieve their goals. I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from The Ohio State University and my master’s degree in counselor education from Ohio University. My passion for mental health stems from a deep commitment to providing compassionate and effective care tailored to each person’s unique needs.
I specialize in working with anxiety disorders, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder, trauma, depression, and self-esteem concerns. I draw on evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), alongside mindfulness approaches. We’ll create a personalized plan to address your concerns and help you build the tools and resilience needed for meaningful change.
Creating a safe, welcoming, and supportive space is my approach’s heart. I want you to feel heard and empowered as we navigate your challenges. Whether you’re looking to reduce anxiety, heal from trauma, or enhance your self-esteem, I’m here to support you every step of the way. Let’s work together to move toward the life you envision.
