Most recently, I interned as a school counselor for 6 months in the Northridge Local School district. In this position, I conducted individual and group sessions with students, facilitated crisis intervention and appropriate referrals, designed a classroom guidance curriculum for prosocial skills development at the middle school level, and collaborated with school social workers in order to ensure student access to resources. Previously, I interned at Main Street Recovery Center through Goodwill Easter seals Miami Valley for 3 months as a counselor trainee. In this role, I conducted individual sessions with adult clients experiencing various mental health and life challenges. Overall, I have worked in the field of behavioral health since 2017serving in various outpatient, inpatient, community, educational, and residential settings.  

In May of 2022, I completed two masters programs in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling, through Walden University, specializing in couples, family, and marriage counseling. This education qualified me to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).I love helping others to develop the skills necessary to increase resilience and cope with life’s many challenges. It is my overall goal to help individuals, groups, couples, and families to identify their values and goals and move towards more functional and productive lives.
