Hi – My name is Elizabeth, but please call me Beth. As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Ohio, I bring a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to helping individuals navigate their mental health journey. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and am a National Certified Counselor (NCC). My professional background includes internships in AOD outpatient counseling and private practice, followed by roles in private practice and as an Employee Assistance Counselor for Air Force civilian employees. My focus has been on conducting diagnostic assessments for mental and emotional disorders, including trauma-informed care for a variety of mental and behavioral health issues.
I am deeply committed to providing a culturally sensitive and respectful therapeutic relationship. My approach is integrative, meaning I tailor my techniques to meet the unique needs of each client or family. I am passionate about developing a strong rapport with my clients, and I strive to be enthusiastic, supportive, and genuine in every session. My therapeutic methods are rooted in person-centered practices combined with cognitive behavioral approaches to foster growth and change.
My areas of concentration include diagnostic assessments, grief and loss, and somatic movement therapy for trauma. I also focus on helping clients through life transitions and addressing veteran issues. Additionally, I have specialized training in play therapy techniques for both children and adults, making my practice versatile and responsive to a wide range of client needs. If you’re seeking compassionate and effective support, I’m here to help you on your journey to better mental health.
