Emily Meyer

LISW-S (Ohio)

Hello, I'm Emily, a Licensed Independent Social Worker with a supervision designation (LISW-S), and I'm honored to embark on a journey of growth and healing with you. My educational background includes a bachelor's degree from the University of Dayton, a Master of Social Work from Spalding University, and a Doctorate of Social Work from the University of Tennessee. With a solid foundation in social work theory and practice, I've dedicated my career to supporting children, adolescents, emerging young adults, and families as they navigate life's myriad challenges.

In my therapy approach, I emphasize the therapeutic relationship as the cornerstone of positive change. Drawing from evidence-based modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy, I strive to create a safe and nurturing space where you can explore, grow, and heal. My practice is rooted in a strength-based, holistic perspective, recognizing your unique strengths and empowering you to harness them in pursuit of your goals and aspirations.

Together, we'll embark on a journey toward greater balance, resilience, and fulfillment in life. Whether you're grappling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or simply seeking greater self-awareness and personal growth, I'm here to support you every step of the way. With empathy, compassion, and a commitment to your well-being, I look forward to walking alongside you on this transformative path toward healing and wholeness.
