About

Hello! I'm thrilled that you've taken this courageous step toward exploring therapy—an act of true bravery in a world that often encourages us to wear a happy face and keep our struggles hidden. Congratulations on taking this vital first step!

Having walked my own healing journey since childhood, I bring over two decades of experience engaging with the mental health care system as both a patient and therapist. This unique perspective has granted me a profound understanding of the participant's needs in therapy.

As a therapist, I emphasize the essentials of a strong therapeutic relationship, a good fit, accurate diagnosis, and the therapist's humility. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. I have experience in crisis intervention and stabilization, and have worked directly with school administrators, teachers, and other providers to develop Individualized Education Plans and 504 plans to support children and adolescents in the school environment.

I bring expertise in DBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, Mindfulness-based CBT, and play therapy. I help to address a wide array of concerns—from depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders to ADHD, autism, and identity issues—I'm dedicated to providing support tailored to your unique journey. Together, we'll explore the roots of your distress and work towards a life that aligns with your aspirations. Whether you prefer in-person sessions at our comfortable office or secure online meetings, I'm excited about the opportunity to collaborate. Please don't hesitate to reach out—I'm eager to connect and support you on your transformative journey.
