About

Erica is a licensed professional counselor and a chemical dependency counselor assistant.  She earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Neuroscience from Westminster College in 2012.  In 2020, Erica obtained her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Cleveland State University.  She has experience working with children/adolescents, college setting and VA healthcare system.  She has a history working with individuals suffering from a wide range of mental health issues including depression, anxiety, substance use, relationship issues, family conflict, academic difficulties, self-harm, suicidal ideation, conflict resolution and low self-esteem.  In addition, Erica has worked in outpatient services as a partial hospitalization program and intensive outpatient program therapist with adolescents diagnosed with various emotional and behavioral disorders.   

As a clinician, Erica meets each client where they are in their journey.  She is accepting, inclusive, empathetic, genuine, validating, direct and supportive.  She believes that everyone has the tools and strategies to live the life they want to live and find their purpose, but may at times need support, encouragement, along with, refining their tools in order to succeed.  She believes that small victories provide the courage and confidence to win the big battles.  We are more than we imagine.
