Frank Baker

MSW, LSW (Ohio)

I am a Licensed Social Worker with a BA in Psychology from Thomas More College and an MSW from the University of Cincinnati. I have served the Greater Cincinnati Area for over ten years by providing mental health and substance use treatment through individual and group therapy.  My primary focus is Anxiety Disorders, Mood Disorders, Substance Use Disorders and Dual Diagnosis. My clinical approach starts with a client-centered foundation, where I focus on building a healthy rapport with you and creating an environment where you feel empowered to grow.

Once I have met you where you are on your journey, we can use the appropriate therapeutic interventions that would work best for you and your situation, including behavior modification, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based strategies. I believe strongly that a good therapist is not one who tries to fix your problems but instead helps you to unlock your own abilities to create the life you want.

“Nothing that grieves us can be called little: by the eternal laws of proportion a child's loss of a doll and a king's loss of a crown are events of the same size.”  - Mark Twain
