Are you struggling with issues that seem impossible to manage? Are you looking for ways to become your best self? Or maybe you would appreciate a non-judgmental listening ear. Growing and healing is difficult, but you don’t have to go through it alone. I can be an empathetic, genuine, reliable presence that gives you a safe space to be accepted, challenged, and encouraged to meet your goals. I’m committed to supporting you in achieving the life you want.
I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Psychology in 2020 and earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Xavier University in 2022. I specialize in treating individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and bipolar disorder, but I also enjoy treating a wide range of conditions. If you decide to take the first step and sign up to work with me, here’s what you can expect: Our first meeting will focus on getting to know you, your goals, and how well we work together. We’ll continue treatment with a plan tailored to your needs, whether it’s building self-awareness using family-of-origin, mindfulness, and person-centered methods, or a more practical skills-based approach using solution-focused, cognitive-behavioral, and choice theory techniques.
I was born in Canada, raised in China, and moved to the U.S. in 2016. This experience made me value people’s cultures and take the time to learn about others’ perspectives. In my free time, I enjoy watching movies, trying new restaurants and recipes, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends. I also like laughing with others, spending time with my cat, playing volleyball, and learning new languages.
