About
Hi there! I am a licensed social worker through the State of Ohio. I graduated from Wright State University and have experience working with both children and adults. My past experiences have included working with adults with physical disabilities, children on the spectrum, families living in poverty, and elementary-aged children in a school setting.
Most recently, I have been working as a therapist based in an elementary school, working with children on managing behaviors, learning coping skills, communicating feelings, and social skills. Additionally, I have experience working with individuals with anxiety, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, bipolar, oppositional defiant disorder, autism, mood disorders, adjustment disorder, conduct disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, eating disorders, and more.
I am passionate about helping others accomplish their goals and understanding and processing their feelings. My goal is to create a safe and nonjudgmental space for my clients. My approach is holistic and strength-based. I have experience in cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, and applied behavior therapy. Everyone is different, so I tailor my approach to your needs, desires, and goals.
