Holly received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Colorado, Denver in 2018 and is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado. Prior to joining Mindfully (formerly Stacy Ruse Counseling Group) in the Fall of 2020, Holly worked in community mental health settings with adults and adolescents. 

She enjoys working with adolescents, young adults, and adults on their journeys to take concrete steps toward living a more rich and meaningful life. Her specialty areas include healing from trauma and PTSD, coping with anxiety and depression, developing and strengthening identity and self-esteem, and working through life transitions. She uses an intentionally eclectic therapeutic approach in order to tailor the therapy experience to each individual’s personality and needs.

Holly is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Holly was born and raised in Colorado. In her free time you can find her taking hikes and camping with her husband and their dog, watching too much TV, playing volleyball, or traveling around Colorado and beyond!
