About

Hello! My name is Kaitlin and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Ohio. I graduated from Heidelberg University with my Bachelor in Psychology in 2019, then returned to complete my Masters in Counseling in 2022. I began my career working in community mental health, where I developed experience working with various diagnoses and issues. I look forward to using this experience to help you with whatever needs and challenges you may face.

My greatest joy is working with LGBTQ+ folks to provide a judgment-free, affirming space to discuss whatever needs exist, including issues specific to this community. As a queer individual myself, I strive to amplify the voices of other LGBTQ+ individuals and advocate for their mental health needs. I am affiliated with queer and trans-specific professional entities and continue to seek training opportunities specific to this area.

I have experience working with people struggling with diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders, as well as various life concerns such as family issues, grief, life changes, and many more. My hope is that my person-centered approach will allow you to feel welcome and empowered to share your story with me. Working together, we can harness your potential and reach for a healthier future.
