Katie Kemper

About

Hi!  My name is Katie Kemper, and I am a licensed professional counselor. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University in 2004 in psychology and eventually went back to school, where I earned my Master’s degree in 2013 from Capella University in mental health counseling.

I have worked at Harbor as a case manager working with a diverse population. I have also worked with the elderly population in nursing facilities, so I have a particular strength in working with the older population. In addition to these experiences, I have run mental health groups and worked with various populations and concerns/issues.  

My goal is to provide a “safe space” for you to feel comfortable speaking with me, and I would like the opportunity to travel this road with you. My experience and interests include depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, domestic violence, trauma, grief, eating disorders, and body image issues.  I look forward to working with you to help you on your journey to mental wellness.
