Hi, my name is Laura. I have a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and I specialize in meeting the mental health needs of teenagers and young adults. I provide school-based services at a local high school, creating a supportive and confidential space for students facing various mental health challenges and life circumstances.
I am deeply committed to building strong, trusting relationships with my clients. I recognize that a solid therapeutic alliance is the key to fostering meaningful and lasting change. By combining evidence-based practices with a personalized approach, I work with young individuals to help them build resilience, develop effective coping strategies, and regain a sense of hope.
Outside of my professional life, I find joy in crocheting and reading, often accompanied by my border collie, Buttons, who provides comfort and companionship. My passion for helping others and my genuine care for my clients shine through in every interaction, and I am dedicated to positively impacting the lives of those I serve.
