Alexandra (Lexie) Bischof, LPC, NCC attended Wright State University and received a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in psychology and a minor in sexuality studies. She then went on to The University of Toledo and completed a Master of Arts in counselor education with a focus in clinical mental health counseling. She is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Gender Affirmative Care, and LGBTQIA+ Cultural Competency. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults in various settings such as school-based, community based, Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP) and private practice.

Lexie specializes in providing trauma-informed care for members of the LGBTQIA+ community and assisting individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-harm, low self-esteem, and gender/identity issues. While she acknowledges that each person’s needs are highly individualized and require their own unique approach, she primarily utilizes a Person-Centered approach and implements aspects of Motivational Interviewing into her therapeutic practice. Lexie provides each individual with an empathic, supportive, and comfortable setting in order to address the various challenges that life may present.

In her free time she enjoys being with her cat, Oliver, and Miniature Poodle, Noodle.
