About

Maggie has accumulated a variety of experience over the past decade in the mental health care field.  She has a passion for empowering others to make meaningful and lasting life changes.  Like many providers she has an eclectic approach to counseling. DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Schema, Solution Focused, and Person-Centered Therapeutic techniques are primarily used to support those she serves. However, it is the rapport built through collaboration that has been shown to be the most beneficial aspect of therapy. That is why she strives to balance personable with professional in a way that works best for each person. She believes that being transparent, genuine, and treating others with dignity is essential to building the therapeutic alliance. Maggie enjoys using humor and psychoeducation to keep conversations gentle and light but also focused on your goals.  She has a curious heart and often spends her free time with her cats and running in the woods with friends. If you ever have a question, just ask!
