About

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Ohio. I received my bachelor’s and master’s degrees both from Northern Arizona University, where I studied Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling, respectively. I have experience working with people across wide ranges of identity and need, from adolescents through older adults. I have worked with clients with issues related to depression, anxiety, bipolar and mood disorders, schizophrenia and related disorders, anger, and trauma and adjustment disorders. I have a growing knowledge and understanding working with those who identify within the LGBTQIA+ community, and family and friends wanting to be supportive of their loved ones in this community. I currently lead Mindfully’s Gender and Sexual Identity (GSI) team and facilitate different trainings for staff about the queer community throughout the year.

As a therapist I strive to be as integrative as possible in my practice and to create a safe space for healing and growth. My belief is that every client’s therapy experience is unique and requires a variety of modalities to be used. I mostly pull from client-centered, cognitive- and dialectic-behavioral, feminist, and reality theories. I believe that every therapist does therapy differently and that it takes work from both client and therapist to enact effective change in someone’s life. I look forward to helping you navigate the change you’re looking for!
