As your therapist, I will provide you with the tools you need,  but ultimately understand that you’re the expert on what works for you. My biggest priority is your comfort, so don’t be afraid to tell me what you really think and come to therapy as your authentic self. I will ensure you get something tangible from the first session whether that’s a great app, book recommendation, or another practical coping skill you can use right away.

I’ve been working as a therapist for over four years, serving a wide variety of clientele from children to teenagers to adults. In my previous position, I worked with children ages 2-18 with ADHD and behavioral issues, helping them master the skills needed to succeed in school and daycare settings.

I have my masters in social work from the University of Cincinnati and my bachelors in Social Work from Ohio University. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, Solutions Focused Therapy, TFCBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), mindfulness techniques, and liberation psychology. I am passionate about working with the LGBTQ community and people that are neurodivergent.  Racial equity is a big focus of mine- I’m involved in a wide variety of racial justice initiatives. These include obtaining a diversity certificate, attending an Accelerating Racial Justice retreat, volunteering in Cincinnati as part of SURJ (Stand Up for Racial Justice), and more.

In my free time, I can be found at home with my husband and our fat cat, named Tofu! I love to play video games, read comics, go thrifting, go to the zoo, go bird watching, and check out new art exhibits.
