My name is Ramica, and I’m so excited to be joining the team here at Mindfully! I received my BSW from Central State University and my MSW from the University of Cincinnati, and I am a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Ohio. While earning my degrees, I have had the honor of working with various ages and populations, from children’s psychiatric/behavioral settings to adult residential facilities.
Throughout the years, I’ve developed a passion for working with children and young adults who may be battling with mental and behavioral issues possibly caused by trauma and/or adverse life experiences. I have experience working with children, young adults, and families through informed Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Play Therapy based interventions. My past lived experiences centered around mental and behavioral health not only inform my practice but also drive my willingness to continue to shape better the care I offer to my clients.
