About
Hello, I'm a licensed mental health counselor with a diverse background and a deep passion for helping children overcome behavioral challenges and trauma. Prior to my current role, I was the clinical lead in Amity Elementary’s School Based Day Treatment Program, where I provided trauma-informed care and behavioral-modification interventions to high-behavior students right within their home school environment. I also have experience working in the Neurology Unit at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, where I served as a dedicated social worker. During my undergraduate years, I also had the opportunity to contribute as a research assistant in the inpatient Psychiatry unit at CCHMC, where I gained invaluable experience in evaluating children with a wide range of diagnoses.
I believe that every child, regardless of their challenges or trauma history, has the potential to discover their inner strength and cope in healthy ways, ultimately enhancing their quality of life. One of my core principles is the importance of parental engagement. In therapy, I not only work with the child but also strongly emphasize educating and supporting parents so they can continue to empower their children even after they graduate from therapy.
I'm committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children and their families, and I look forward to the opportunity to bring my expertise and passion to help your child thrive. Together, we can create a brighter and more hopeful future for them.
