I am a Licensed Social Worker in Ohio. I have a BA in Psychology from Miami University and an MSW from Northern Kentucky University. I have experience working with children, families, and adults who may be struggling with various issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, family/relationships, and self-esteem.
My therapeutic approach is client-centered and collaborative. There’s a common misconception that therapists will tell you what to do. However, therapy is about YOU and your goals, and I will help you get there. I will act as an unbiased person who will offer different perspectives, help you find practical solutions, encourage you to embrace discomfort, and emphasize self-care. My goal is to help my clients feel empowered and validated.
I will be your biggest hype girl, but I will also be honest with you. I was told I “call
people out with compassion,” meaning I can be brutally honest and kind. I form connections with my clients through humor and sarcasm. I believe the therapeutic relationship is the most vital part of the therapeutic process. Many people worry about what to talk about in therapy. I ask that you show up, and we’ll figure it out together. If any of this resonates with you, please reach out to schedule an appointment or bring me any questions or concerns!
