Join us for an exciting 8-week interactive tabletop role-playing game (TTRPG, similar to Dungeons & Dragons). These sessions will be held in-person every Saturday 6pm – 8pm from June 14 to August 2, 2025.

The Benefits of Interactive DnD Inspired Group Therapy for Teens & Adults

If you are a neurodivergent adult (ADHD, ASD Level 1) or you have a teen (13-17) who struggles with social skills, emotional regulation, or teamwork, this therapeutic role-playing game (TTRPG) group offers a fun and effective way to help them grow.

Using the evidence-based Critical Core system, this program fosters emotional self-control, problem-solving, empathy-building, and collaboration—all while having fun in a fantasy world.

💵 $50 per session (or $200 per month, for 2 months).  This fee also covers the cost of the initial assessment.

Insurance does not cover the cost of this service.

Your Group Therapy for Teens Facilitator

Steven Otto, MA, LPC, LPMT, MT-BC

Steven Otto is a therapist who specializes in helping teens and adults aged 13 years and up. He helps teens dealing with school problems, depression, or thoughts of self-harm. Steven also helps people who have schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and individuals who have experienced trauma. 

Steven is trained as a Therapeutic Game Master from Geek Therapeutics, where he learned how to use games like Dungeons and Dragons to bring about beneficial change.

Interactive DnD Inspired Group Therapy: What To Expect

Before the group begins, the facilitator will meet with you for a brief pre-assessment. Starting June 14, you’ll join a small in-person group (4-6 participants) every Saturday at the Mindfully Montgomery office. Over the 8-week program, you’ll build new skills, connect with others, and enjoy a supportive, engaging experience.
