Warmline FAQ 

  • What is a warmline? 

    • A warmline is a number that you can call before you reach a point of crisis. Some days you know something is wrong, but the next steps may seem unclear on how to obtain support. Talk with someone who has similar lived experience and has overcome their mental health struggles  

  • What are the benefits of a warmline? 

    • Receiving early mental health intervention, finding community in speaking with others who have similar lived experiences, and supports continuing mental health growth 

  • What is the difference between a hotline and a warmline? 

    • A hotline is a line that you call when you are in crisis but a warmline is something you call before you reach crisis 

  • Who will I be talking to when I call the warmline? 

    • A trained peer support specialist who has lived experience with mental health struggles and has overcome them 

  • What hours are you available? 

    • Monday: 4 pm – 6 pm 

    • Tuesday: 1 pm – 2 pm  

    • Wednesday: 1 pm – 2 pm & 4 pm – 6 pm 

    • Thursday: 12 pm – 3 pm  

    • Friday: 9 am – 3 pm  

  • Are there off days?

    • Currently, we have no availability on the weekends
