About Eva

Eva Robinson-Schley, MSW, LMSW, LSW is a licensed mental health professional in the states of Georgia and Ohio. Eva has worked for over 25 years as a mental health professional. Eva is a proud HBCU graduate. She currently holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Central State University and a Master’s of Social Work degree from Clark Atlanta University. She completed her course work in clinical social work.

Eva has always been fascinated by all aspects of human nature.  Her experience includes working with individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and substance abuse issues. She has supported individuals and couples  with premarital counseling, marital conflicts, affairs, divorce, sexuality, conflict, loneliness and dissatisfaction. Eva has worked with various groups in  geriatric, end of life preparation , grief and loss, addictions, gender identity, community reentry, career development, domestic violence, anger management, and family reunification. 

Eva  is comfortable with and understands emotional pain. Life can offer many stumbling blocks. These stumbling blocks can lead to people feeling stuck. Inadequate, or even hopeless. Sometimes it is a current issue and it may be coming to terms with events from the past.  Eva has a warm, non-judgemental approach and works to help  her clients understand the source of their discomfort and pain that leads to change and healing.  

The modalities that Eva uses are Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Attachment theory and Existential Therapy. In addition Eva is Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) oriented. She is currently in pursuit of DBT certification. 

Eva currently resides in the state of Ohio. She is a life long learner in current pursuit of a degree in education leadership.
