Ryan Lacey is a John Carroll University Alumni with a Master’s of Arts in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling. With 25 years of experience in child welfare and school counseling, Ryan Lacey brings a deep well of compassion, insight, and advocacy to her evolving role in the clinical mental health field. Her career has been defined by a steadfast commitment to supporting children, adolescents, and families through some of life’s most challenging transitions.
Beginning in child welfare, Ryan Lacey worked closely with at-risk youth and families, navigating complex systems to ensure safety, stability, and emotional healing. Her work as a school counselor further expanded her impact—providing academic guidance, crisis intervention, and social-emotional support to students across diverse backgrounds.
Now transitioning into a clinical setting, Ryan Lacey integrates her decades of frontline experience with evidence-based therapeutic approaches to offer individualized care. She specializes in trauma-informed counseling, anxiety and mood disorders, family dynamics, and school-related challenges. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in the belief that every client has the capacity to grow, heal, and thrive.
