I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant who works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and co-occurring mental health concerns. I have experience in both community mental health and private practice settings, supporting clients who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or exhausted by the weight of what they have been carrying on their own.
I believe therapy should be a space where you feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to be vulnerable, and empowered enough to grow. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in meeting each client where they are while helping them better understand themselves, recognize patterns, strengthen coping skills, and begin making meaningful changes in their everyday lives.
I have experience working with co-occurring disorders and understand that trauma, mental health symptoms, substance use, and life stress often overlap in complex ways. Whether you are navigating anxiety or depression, processing difficult experiences, working toward recovery, or trying to reconnect with yourself during a hard season of life, I strive to create a space where you feel seen, respected, and supported.
My clinical work is informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, trauma-informed care, and EMDR-informed interventions. I have completed EMDR training and may incorporate trauma-focused approaches when appropriate to help clients process distressing experiences and reduce the lasting impact of trauma.
My goal is to help clients build insight, feel more grounded in themselves, and create meaningful, lasting change.
