As a Licensed Social Worker, I value the connection between human rights, identity, social justice, and mental health. I’ve spent the last 5 years working in mental health and addiction settings with survivors of human-trafficking and domestic violence, Veterans, and LGBTQ+ communities. I enjoy working with people who are motivated and curious about trying a new way of thinking.
My experience has been helping those who are working through substance or process addictions, CPTSD, anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, self-esteem development, and interpersonal relationships.
I will guide you through the practice of self-advocacy and self-affirmation as you work toward the goals you set for yourself. During our time together, I will draw on aspects of different frameworks to best help you. Some examples include Dialectical Behavior Therapy (to develop and grow mindfulness and coping skills), Narrative Therapy (to gain perspective), and Relational Life Therapy (to foster honesty, accountability, and connection).
If this approach feels like a good fit for you, I invite you to reach out to schedule a session, either in person or online via our HIPAA-compliant video platform. I look forward to connecting with you and supporting you on your journey!
