I completed my Master’s degree in social work with Boston College in 2010 and obtained independent licensure in 2013. Having recently moved to Ohio from Massachusetts, I obtained independent licensure in Ohio in 2016.
I have experience in outpatient, community based mental health and residential settings. Throughout my practice I have focused on addictions, chronic mental health challenges, men’s issues, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and have worked with both adults and adolescents. I specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing, and I am passionate about serving others to assist in identifying and pursuing healthy, positive choices. My style is one of warm acceptance and collaboration.
Almost everyone can use someone to talk to at some point in his or her life, and I feel strongly that an effective counseling relationship involves much listening, working together, and a free exchange of ideas to work toward identification of solutions.
