Hi, I’m Kayla Richards, and I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and am currently pursuing my master’s in clinical Mental Health Counseling. My passion lies in providing compassionate, client-centered care that honors each person’s unique experience. I’m especially interested in supporting neurodivergent individuals and strive to create a warm, affirming space where you can feel seen, heard, and empowered in your growth and healing journey.
My path to counseling has been shaped by diverse, hands-on experiences. I’ve worked with individuals from adolescence to late adulthood in both medical and therapeutic settings, strengthening my ability to offer supportive, professional care in emotionally sensitive environments. In previous roles, I developed skills in patient intake, managing complex dynamics under pressure, and responding to people’s needs with empathy and clarity—skills that now inform my approach in the therapy room as a counselor trainee.
I bring a grounded, collaborative presence to my work and believe that therapy should be a safe space where clients feel respected, understood, and supported at every step. Whether you’re navigating life transitions, managing stress, or exploring your identity, I’m here to help you move forward with confidence and care.
Note: Kayla Richards is a dedicated master’s-level student currently receiving supervision from Stephanie Kemme to provide you with the highest quality care.
