More About Makena Waldron

Hi, I’m Makena Waldron. I’m deeply committed to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion and care. I’ve been consistently drawn to understanding the human mind and building meaningful connections that foster healing and growth.

I spent two years working in pediatric behavioral therapy, specializing in autism support. That hands-on experience taught me the importance of patience, individualized care, and meeting people exactly where they are. During that time, I also co-led training and development efforts for other behavior technicians, which helped me grow as both a leader and a listener—skills I bring into every therapeutic relationship.

I believe therapy should be a collaborative, empowering space where clients feel safe, heard, and respected. Whether you’re working through anxiety, life transitions, or simply looking for support, I’m here to walk alongside you with warmth and understanding. As a proud member of the Ohio Counseling Association and someone who’s passionate about continuing education, I stay informed and connected in the field so I can provide you with thoughtful, informed care every step of the way.
