I am a dedicated, strengths-based therapist passionate about supporting children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. My approach is integrative, drawing on over ten years of experience in the medical field, including active duty in the Air Force and working in various settings such as community agencies, schools, and private practice. I believe in creating personalized treatment plans that meet each client’s unique needs and circumstances, and I’m committed to helping my clients navigate life’s challenges with resilience and hope.
I particularly enjoy working with adolescents and young adults on issues related to neurodivergence, sexual identity, oppositional defiance, learning disorders, and childhood trauma. I have a strong focus on supporting parents and guardians in better understanding their child’s needs, especially in school settings where learning disorders, Autism/ADHD, and academic accommodations like IEPs or 504 plans come into play. I aim to foster communication and understanding so families can work together effectively to support their child’s growth.
In therapy, I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can express themselves fully. Whether we’re addressing specific challenges or exploring broader areas of personal growth, I believe in the power of creativity, empathy, and self-care. Through art, horticulture-based therapies, and psychoeducation, I help clients build resilience and explore new ways of understanding themselves. If you’re looking for a therapist who offers a compassionate, flexible approach, I’d love to support you on your journey.
