My mission is to support and guide people on their own journey towards recovery. I’m dedicated to helping individuals rebuild their lives to lift them out of the sense of hopelessness that can result from years of chaos, crises, and trauma. I firmly believe in the power of hope and am confident that we can nurture it together to create a brighter future.
I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 1987. My initial focus was on Chemical Dependency. Recovery from drug and alcohol use disorder can be complicated by aspects of mental health, trauma, anger management, and stress. Effectively addressing co-occurring disorders requires a holistic and integrated approach that simultaneously addresses both the substance use disorder and the mental health condition.
I also focus on the intervention and relapse prevention processes as they are important and involve both the “afflicted” and the “affected.” My goal is to be supportive and help others build their way out of the hopelessness resulting from the chaos, crises, and trauma experienced over the years. Hope remains vital, and I believe it can be nurtured by working together.
