Hello and thanks for visiting my biography. Here is a little bit about my background. I earned my bachelor’s degree in science as well as my master’s degree in social work from the University of Cincinnati. I am a licensed independent mental health and addictions social worker in Ohio and Kentucky and have been working in the field since 2011. I have primarily worked with adult individuals in the community mental health arena, treating a variety of concerns, including substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, life adjustments, grief/loss, and general life stressors.
I have been trained and have experience in using a variety of modalities, including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, solutions-focused approach, and dialectical behavioral therapy-informed approaches to assist someone in their healing. However, I believe each person’s needs are unique, and we will center our work based on the needs expressed by you.
I genuinely like listening, learning, and being a part of working through the challenges life presents to people. I consider it a privilege and take very seriously my role in helping someone find their strengths to do so through empathy, encouragement, safety, and guidance.
