I am a licensed social worker with the state of Ohio. I completed my Master’s in Social Work at Bowling Green State University in 2020 and have a background in working in the child welfare system, inpatient psychiatric treatment, crisis management, substance abuse treatment, and eating disorder treatment. I lead Mindfully’s eating disorder team and enjoy working with those on the road to recovery from eating disorders such as anorexia, bulimia, and avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID). I have experience and training in many different treatment modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, radically open dialectical behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy all using a person-centered approach.
I create a therapeutic alliance with my clients that allows them to feel safe working through difficulties of any kind. I enjoy working with people of diverse backgrounds including members of the LGBTQIA+ community and neurodivergent individuals. I believe everyone has the power to make the changes they seek for themselves, and therapy is a great way to begin making those changes with an unbiased, authentic and supportive therapeutic relationship. Thank you for taking the time to read a little about me and I look forward to working with you!
