More About Sarah Edwards

Hi, I’m Sarah, a master’s student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Cincinnati. I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, embrace their strengths, and lead meaningful lives. Drawing from a person-centered approach, I believe in creating a warm, non-judgmental space where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. My goal is to empower you to trust yourself, align your actions with your values, and cultivate self-acceptance and compassion as you move toward your goals.

In addition to person-centered therapy, I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) into my work. This evidence-based approach helps individuals embrace their emotions and thoughts without judgment while taking purposeful steps toward living a values-driven life. I use ACT to support clients in building psychological flexibility and resilience, equipping them with the tools they need to manage difficult emotions and create a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.

During my clinical resident expierence with the NAMI Helpline, I supported over 300 individuals by connecting them to mental health, housing, financial, and employment resources. These experiences have deepened my commitment to helping others and shaped my compassionate, resourceful approach to therapy. Whether you’re facing anxiety, navigating life transitions, or seeking personal growth, I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward greater well-being.
