I’m Star Ibragim, a graduate counseling trainee with a deep passion for supporting others through their healing journey. I’m currently preparing for my internship in clinical mental health counseling, where I’ll be offering compassionate, client-centered care in a safe and judgment-free space. My goal is to walk alongside individuals as they gain insight, build resilience, and reconnect with themselves in meaningful ways.
My background includes working with children and adolescents in educational and behavioral health settings, particularly those with autism and other special needs. As a Registered Behavior Technician, I supported clients with personalized treatment plans, behavior intervention strategies, and ongoing progress monitoring. These experiences have shaped my ability to connect with diverse populations and meet each client where they are with empathy, patience, and encouragement.
In therapy, I value active listening, cultural sensitivity, and collaboration. I strive to help clients feel seen, heard, and empowered throughout the process. Whether you’re navigating stress, emotional challenges, or looking for guidance in personal growth, I’m here to support you with warmth and respect. I believe that with the right support and tools, everyone has the capacity to heal and thrive.
