Mindfully-Western Hills, Cincinnati, OH (formerly known as Compass Point Counseling) is one of the premier private mental health practices on the west side of Cincinnati. We are conveniently located off Bridgetown Road, within 10 minutes of Westwood, 20 minutes from College Hill, and 20 minutes of Colrain.

To locate our office from Westwood, follow these directions:

  1. Head northwest on Harrison Avenue toward McKinley Ave.
  2. Take a slight left onto Bridgetown Rd.
  3. Continue straight on Bridgetown Rd for about 2 miles.
  4. Turn right onto Bridgetown Road.
  5. Turn right at 5630 Bridgetown Rd.  We are in Unit 4.

Mindfully-Western Hills is approximately 10 minutes from Westwood, depending on traffic conditions.

To locate our office from College Hill, follow these directions:

  1. Head north toward N. Bend Rd. 
  2. Turn right toward W North Bend Rd and stay on this for 3.5 miles.
  3. Use left onto North Bend Rd
  4. Turn right onto Boomer Rd
  5. Turn left onto Race Rd
  6. Turn right onto Bridgetown Road.
  7. Continue on Bridgetown Road until you reach 5630 Bridgetown Rd, on your right.  We are in Unit 4.

All sessions are private and confidential.

You will work with your provider to help develop goals and a treatment plan to begin the healing process and find your path in life.

If there is a need for your therapist to communicate with someone else they will have you fill out a release of information allowing them to do so.

If you are using your insurance we are required to speak with them regarding diagnosis codes, treatment plans, or other typically confidential information from time to time. If you would prefer that we don’t have any contact with insurance companies regarding your sessions, you have the option to pay privately. We offer a discounted private pay rate for paying at the time of service. Paying privately increases confidentiality, allows for additional treatment avenues, and eliminates mandatory reporting to insurance companies. Removing the “middle man” of insurance companies allows the therapeutic relationship to be better customized to each client by protecting your privacy, using diagnoses only if and when they impact your treatment, and allowing your sessions and payments to be less dictated by a certain billing code and more by your needs.

We understand that insurance benefits can leave you feeling confused and we are available to answer any questions that you may have regarding this topic. Please note that we cannot honour the confidentiality of your session when there is an immediate threat of harm to yourself or others.

To virtually “check-in” for your teletherapy session you will need to enter our virtual waiting room. Your clinician will start your video session from this screen. If you should need anything while you are waiting for your appointment, please feel free to call our main office at 888-830-0347 and we will assist you via telephone.

Please note that if you call outside of our front office hours (after 5 pm EST, or 5 pm MST, depending on your location) you may receive our general voicemail. The therapists may still schedule appointments outside of the front office hours.

Once your appointment is scheduled you may fill out your paperwork online before your first session. These forms will be emailed to you via the email provided when scheduling.  We always recommend that our clients who are using their insurance give their insurance a call to learn more about their specific outpatient mental health benefits.  Additionally, you will find our privacy policy which you may want to print out to keep for your records. You can also request a copy from us as well.

You can schedule your appointment online at any time, or call our front office on weekdays between 8:00 am – 5 pm (EST). When you call us at 888-830-0347, you will be put in touch with one of our intake professionals who will help you get scheduled with one of our providers.

You will be asked to provide us with general demographic information, insurance/EAP information (if applicable), and a brief description of why you are seeking treatment. Mindfully utilizes a team approach as an important tool in providing specialized care. By providing us with your reason for seeking treatment, we are better able to match you with the provider who might be the best fit for your needs.

After we have all of your information, we will provide you with a selection of a few of our providers. Please feel free to communicate to us any special circumstances that might aid in scheduling your appointment. (e.g., if you need daytime or evening hours for your appointment, or if you need certain days of the week). We will do our best to accommodate your requests when looking for appointments for you. These “advanced options” can be added online using the drop-down to further target your results.
