Hello, my name is Claire Johantges, LSW, and I am so happy you are here. I’m dedicated to providing a safe and supportive space for individuals and families to understand and overcome life’s challenges. With extensive experience in mental health services, I specialize in trauma-informed care and believe in empowering my clients to achieve their full potential. I believe in nurturing spaces, without shame and without blame, so that we can work together to identify your strengths and values to assist us in navigating the next steps together.
I received my undergrad BS in Psychology from NKU and my Masters in Social Work at Indiana University. My professional history includes working in crisis response centers, residential treatments, and community behavioral health for adults and children, allowing me to understand and address a wide range of complex needs. I have a passionate background in working with women, girls, and the LGBTQIA+ community with a strong feminist lens. I have strong social justice values that drive me as an advocate and as a human being in striving to create a safer world for everyone.
I’m looking forward to collaborating with you to develop personalized strategies for growth and healing. I’m committed to creating a space where you feel safe, heard, and understood. If you’re looking for someone to walk alongside you, please feel free to contact me. I am available to meet virtually or in the office, whichever is more convenient and comfortable for you.
