Hello, I’m Troy Dyer, a Licensed Independent Social Worker providing therapy for teens (15+) and adults across Ohio. I’m passionate about helping people feel understood, supported, and empowered—no matter what they’re navigating. I’ve spent several years in the mental health field after earning both my Bachelor’s in Psychology and Master’s in Social Work from the University of Toledo.
I work with a wide range of concerns, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I’m especially dedicated to supporting the LGBTQIA+ and neurodiverse communities, and anyone seeking a space where they can show up exactly as they are. I am trained in several forms of therapy, including CBT, DBT, and EMDR. I actively work on Mindfully’s DBT team and currently run two DBT groups per week. I have also been fortunate to be selected for Mindfully’s Emerging Leader Fellowship program and to be recognized by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) for my advocacy efforts supporting the LGBTQIA+ community.
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. You’re the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk beside you with curiosity, compassion, and a bit of humor as you move toward the life you want. Together, we’ll not only explore what’s difficult—you’ll also reconnect with your strengths, your identity, and the things that bring you joy.
If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d be honored to support you on your path.
