Hi there, I’m Lucas. I’m pursuing my master’s in Counseling Psychology; I’ve come to believe that our most meaningful growth follows the moments we slow down enough to notice and hold the parts of ourselves and our stories that have shaped us. My approach to therapy is shaped by psychodynamic, person-centered, and internal family systems principles, which can help us explore and create space for new ways of thinking, feeling, and being.
I bring a diverse background to my work, having supported and cared for people in stress and crisis as an emergency responder, and held various roles in campus and community settings, facilitating conflict resolution. Across these experiences, I’ve provided calm guidance during difficult situations while fostering trust and connection with those I’ve served. I’ve come to see that great care requires thorough understanding, which takes focused listening and collaborative problem-solving.
I would be glad to join you in the courageous work of trying— trying to heal, grow, and experience ways of being that are new, different, and better. Whether you’re feeling exhausted by your efforts or unsure how to proceed, my goal is to provide a safe, collaborative space where we can navigate it together. I believe it’s possible to experience change; I would be glad to support you toward it, wherever you are.
