More About Shelly Sims

I am an enthusiastic and compassionate leader with over 10 years of experience in mental health services, specializing in client-centered therapeutic interventions. I am deeply committed to helping individuals manage and overcome mental health challenges, particularly those related to childhood trauma. With a passion for fostering positive change, I aim to create a world where children and adolescents receive the care and support they need to thrive.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The Ohio State University, where I developed a strong foundation in mental health principles. Go Bucks! I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations, including children and adolescents with Autism as a behavior technician, and I have extensive experience in developing trauma-informed, evidence-based training to enhance service delivery. My career has focused on building collaborative environments, optimizing care, and leading teams to achieve impactful results.

My goal is to continue my journey toward becoming a clinical psychologist, with a focus on children and adolescents, particularly in trauma treatment. I am driven to make a meaningful impact by combining my experience in leadership and therapeutic services with my dedication to improving mental health support for young people. I am excited to bring my expertise, commitment, and passion for mental health to my clinical internship and beyond.
