More About Sumneet Panu

Hi! My name is Sumneet Panu and I’m a first-year Master of Social Work (MSW) student with a deep passion for mental health and supporting others through life’s challenges. I provide one-on-one support to individuals of all ages—including children, teens, adults, and couples—offering a safe, empathetic space to talk, heal, and grow.

My approach is rooted in evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based strategies. I believe in meeting clients where they are and helping them build practical tools to navigate stress, relationships, and emotional well-being.

In addition to my academic training, I’m a Crisis Counselor with the Crisis Text Line, a co-founder of a mental health startup, and certified through the Be There Certificate by Jack.org and the Born This Way Foundation. These experiences reflect my ongoing commitment to accessible, compassionate mental health support for all.

I’m here to walk with you through whatever you’re facing—with respect, empathy, and genuine care.

Note: Sumneet Panu is a dedicated master’s-level student currently receiving supervision from Monique Lipman to provide you with the highest quality care. This collaborative approach ensures that your counseling experience is supported by a team committed to your growth and well-being. Monique will be actively involved in overseeing clinical aspects of your care, including attending some sessions and reviewing diagnostic and treatment plans to ensure they are tailored to your needs. If you have any questions about this process, Sumneet or Monique would be happy to discuss them with you. Together, they are here to support your journey.
