Hi, I’m Ashley Walters, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a Doctor of Nursing Practice and over 19 years of experience in healthcare. My journey began in nursing, where I worked closely with patients facing complex medical conditions, particularly in geriatrics and oncology. Through these experiences, I developed a deep understanding of how mental health impacts every aspect of a person’s well-being, and a strong desire to help people heal not just physically, but emotionally, too.
That passion led me to pursue advanced training in psychiatry so I could provide meaningful, evidence-based mental health care. Along the way, I’ve worked with individuals across the lifespan, children, teens, adults, and older adults, through both clinical and psychiatric settings. These diverse experiences have taught me the value of listening closely, collaborating with patients on their goals, and tailoring treatment to each unique situation.
In my practice today, I focus on medication management and supportive care for a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and bipolar disorder. I strive to create a welcoming space where you feel seen, heard, and supported, because I truly believe that everyone deserves compassionate care and a clear path forward. Whether you’re starting your journey or continuing it, I’m here to help you move toward greater stability, confidence, and well-being.
