Hi, I’m DiEshia Myers, a clinical resident currently pursuing my Master of Social Work degree. I’m deeply passionate about supporting individuals through life’s challenges, especially those who feel overwhelmed, misunderstood, or unsure of how to move beyond past trauma. With over five years of experience in youth and family services, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of people, from those in hospital and residential settings to individuals involved in the justice system. These experiences have shaped my understanding of what it means to offer real, empathetic support during some of life’s most difficult moments.
My background has given me strong skills in crisis management, trauma-informed care, and case management. I know how hard it can be to ask for help, especially when life feels too heavy to carry alone. Whether you’re facing loss, struggling with mental health or substance use, or just going through a tough season, I’m here to walk alongside you. I believe therapy is not about having all the answers, it’s about working together to find the tools and direction that are right for you.
I earned my undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice and later completed a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Homeland Security and Emergency Management. I’m currently building on that foundation through my clinical training as a social worker, with the goal of providing personalized, practical, and healing-focused therapy. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and always rooted in respect. I’d be honored to support you as you take the next step toward healing and growth.
