More About Krista Joseph

Hi, and Welcome to Mindfully. My name is Krista Joseph and I am a mental health professional who believes you deserve to feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma, and I also have extensive experience supporting people living with serious and persistent mental illness (SPMI), including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and borderline personality disorder (BPD). Whether you are facing a new challenge or have been navigating mental health concerns for years, I strive to meet each person where they are in their unique journey toward improved mental health and well-being.

My extensive background as a case manager has given me the opportunity to support individuals through the real-life challenges that can accompany mental health symptoms. I understand that mental health concerns can affect much more than our emotions—they can impact relationships, work, routines, independence, and daily living skills. Together, we can identify barriers that may be getting in the way of the life you want and develop practical strategies to help you move forward. I believe everyone deserves access to respectful, compassionate, and affirming care, regardless of their background or identity. I am LGBTQ+ friendly and committed to providing a welcoming space where you can feel safe being yourself.

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, particularly if you have spent a long time trying to manage things on your own. You do not need to have all the answers or know exactly where to begin. My goal is to meet you where you are, listen to your story, and work with you to get you to the place you want to be and make the changes you want to make. I offer evening and weekend appointments through HIPAA-compliant telehealth because I know schedules can be hectic. If you are ready to begin, I invite you to reach out and take that first step together.
