Latoya Caver-Jackson Adams, MS, LPCC-S , is a licensed clinical mental health counselor with over two decades of experience in the social services field and more than 15 years specializing in mental health. She holds a Master of Science in Counseling from Heidelberg University and a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from Tiffin University. Latoya is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory designation (LPCC-S) in Ohio and is also licensed to practice in Washington State, Florida, North Carolina, California, and New York.
She currently serves as a Clinical Lead at Two Chairs based out of Los Angeles California, where she provides data-informed, evidence-based care while mentoring colleagues and contributing to clinical program development. Latoya is also the founder of her own private practice, where she offers individual therapy rooted in empathy, empowerment, and cultural responsiveness.
Her career spans a wide range of leadership and direct care roles, including Clinical Supervisor at Family Solutions of Ohio, Program Director at Catholic Charities, and Executive Director of Project GRAD Lorain. She has led interdisciplinary teams, advanced community-based prevention initiatives, and designed programming for youth, families, and marginalized communities.
Grounded in relational cultural theory, Latoya is passionate about addressing the emotional and mental load that women—especially Black women—carry. She advocates for healing through connection, mutual growth, and meaningful support.
Outside of her professional work, Latoya is a wife, mother of two daughters, passionate traveler, and creative spirit who finds joy in dance and charcuterie art.
