More About Melissa Thomas

Hi, I’m Melissa. I believe that everyone has unique strengths and abilities that can guide them toward a life filled with purpose and meaning. In therapy, my goal is to create a safe, collaborative space where you feel empowered to explore your challenges, identify your strengths, and create positive change. Together, we can uncover the patterns in your life that may be holding you back and help you move toward greater growth and fulfillment. Walking alongside my clients as they navigate their healing journey is an honor.

My own experience in therapy inspired me to pursue a career as a counselor, and I’m passionate about helping others on their path to self-discovery and healing. I bring a client-centered approach, where you are the expert on your life. With a bachelor’s degree in business management from Brigham Young University-Idaho and a passion for studying interpersonal relationships, I eventually decided to follow my calling. I am now completing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wright State University.

Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time with my family, including my children, who range in age from elementary school to college. I understand the importance of relationships and how they shape our lives, and I bring this perspective into my work with clients. Reaching out for therapy is a courageous step, and I’d be honored to support you as you navigate your own journey. Let’s work together to help you find the hope, healing, and growth you deserve.
